He died of Broncho pneumonia. Survived by his wife Eddie Miller Beasley. They were married in Eliasville after obtaining a marriage license in Stephens County.

In 1918 he registered for the Draft as a single man. He gave Wordson in Throckmorton County as his home and was working as a clerk for J. G. Gilbert at Caddo in Stephens County, Texas, He gave his next of kin as his mother Lucy Jane Fickling Beasley in Abilene. He was born in Navarro County, Texas.

Services were held for Wiley Tom Beasley at the Baptist Church in Eliasville. Mr. Beasley was born in Coleman (sic) County, Texas, and passed away at his home in Eliasville, Texas. Survived by his wife, four sons Hayden Beasley, Edward Beasley, Brooks Beasley, Bobbie Beasley, his mother, six brothers and five sisters per Searchers of Our Past #47220553
