Richard N. Winters, fifty-four, 418 S. West End Ave., died at the Lancaster General Hospital, at 6:40 a.m. today, after an illness of one week.
Born in Ephrata, the son of the late William D. and Katharine Shirk Winters, he was a member of St. John's Lutheran church. He was a general foreman with the P.P. and L. for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Esbenshade Winters, one son, Richard D. Winters, Metuchen, N.J., and one daughter, E. Ann Winters, at home. One sister, Mrs. Charlotte W. Gardner, of Ephrata, also survives.
