MRS. MYRTLE GRABLE DIES; FUNERAL TUESDAY
Mrs. Myrtle Grable, 567 South Livingston St., died at Whitehaven Nursing Home early Saturday evening.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Hill Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Frank Jones, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The daughter of John and Elizabeth Adams Strickland, she was born in Chariton County Jan 31, 1889.
On June 25, 1915, she was married to Frank Grable at Rothville, and they were parents of one son.
Mrs. Grable is survived by one sister, Ada Brammer, Carrollton; and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, James, who was killed in World War II, two sisters and six brothers.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Brookfield, Gold Star Mothers and the Pershing War Mothers.
