Savage Service At Gracemont
Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Myrtle Savage, 91, longtime Gracemont resident, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Gracemont Assembly of God Church. Burial was in the Lone Wolf Cemetery.
Mrs. Savage died last Thursday night at Silvercrest Manor in Anadarko.
She was born Dec. 28, 1885, in Iowa and came to Oklahoma t the age of four. Mrs. Savage and M.T. (Pete) Savage were married in 1903.
Survivors include four daughters, Lucy Plunk and Sylvia Huddleston of Anadarko, Arta Mae Earp of Fort Cobb and Tiny Shields of Modesto, Calif.; two sons, Sam and Marvin of Gracemont; a brother, Edgar Baker of Miami; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons and two daughters.
