Emily Tennie Shields 87 of Modesto died Tuesday at Anberry Rehabilitation Hospital Atwater. Mrs Shields was a native of Gracemont, Okla and lived in Modesto since 1948. She was a cannery worker for Tillie Lewis Foods. She is survived by her son, Troy Roach of Whittier, brothers Marvin Savage and Sam Savage both of Gracemont, Okla., a sister Arta Mae Earp of Fort Cobb,Okla., eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm today at Ceres Cemetery, Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel Modesto in charge of arrangements.
