My relative who worked in sales as a buyer in Wichita, KS and Muskogee, OK. Frank moved to the Bourbon County, Kansas area with his family, from Pennsylvania in the late 1880's. There was a rumor in the newspapers of the day that he had committed suicide by drinking carbolic acid. That was followed with a retraction of death by suicide shorly after.
