The funeral of John A. Filsinger, 68, a machinist at the Continental Can Company 25 years, who died Monday night at his home, 442 South Alvord Street, will be conducted at 2 P. M. Thursday at the home by the Rev. Robert Barkley, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Filsinger was a member of McKinley Camp, Modern Woodmen of America, and of the Liederkranz. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Matilda Schug Filsinger; a daughter, Mrs. Harry Tucker; a grandson; five brothers, Fred, Leonard, William, Howard and Harvey Filsinger, and four sisters, Mrs. Emma C. Gillette, Mrs. G. Grieb, Mrs. Uri Doolittle and Mrs. Ernest Schaefer.
