MRS. MARTHA FILSINGER DOOLITTLE, 77, of 814 Park st., died yesterday at the Chase Nursing Home following a brief illness. Mrs. Doolittle lived in Syracuse all her life. She was a member of the Genetaska, the First Evangelical Church, and the Kings Daughters. Surviving are her husband, Uri Doolittle, Sr.; three daughters, Mrs. John Hummel of DeWitt, Mrs. Robert Hopple of Syracuse, and Mrs. Fletcher Newberry of Canastota; two sons, Dr. Uri Doolittle, Jr., and William Doolittle, both of Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Ernst Shafer; a brother, Harvey Filsinger; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Frasier Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina st., by the Rev. Michael Salmen, pastor of the First Evangelical Church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
