BAXTER –Funeral services for Charles "Jiggs" Edward Robinson, 69, of Baxter will be held Tuesday, February 28, at 1 p.m. in the Baxter chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson died Sunday, February 26, 1995, in Cookeville General Hospital.
Son of the late Edward Lawrence and Florence Maynard Robinson, he was born May 13, 1925.
A farmer and carpenter, he served in World War II as a Navy Seaman First Class.
His family includes his wife, Betty Roberts Robinson of Baxter; one daughter and soninlaw, Brenda and Doug England of Cookeville; one son and daughterinlaw, Tommy and April Robinson of Cookeville; three sisters, Cleo Evans and Lillian Watts, both of Baxter, and Pauline Marlow of Cookeville; and seven grandchildren, Wade, Matt and Carrie England, Tiffany Moeller and Chris, Clark and Amber Robinson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Fields, and one brother, Writley
Robinson.
