Mr. Robinson died at Cookeville General Hospital after a short illness. He was 86. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 31 at the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home.
Lawrence was a native of Putnam County and the son of Jimmy Robinson and Elizabeth Brown Robinson.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Robinson of Baxter; one son, Charles "Jiggs" Robinson of Baxter; four daughters, Cleo Evans, Lillian Watts, Pauline Marlow, and Katherine Fields, all of Baxter; four half brothers, Collie Anderson of Silver Point, Millard Anderson of Buffalo Valley, Monroe Anderson of Ohio, and O. D. Anderson of Baxter; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
