Mrs. Blanche E. Hallar Anderson, 81, died at 9:10 AM Sunday, Nov. 14 1976, in Comfort Inc. where she had been a patient two years. She had been in failing health several years. Born Sept. 4, 1895, in Omaha, NE, she was reared in the Colburn area but lived most of her life in Lafayette. She was married near Colburn in 1914 to Ernest W. Anderson, a carpenter; he died in 1974.

Surviving are a son, Frederick J. Anderson of Lafayette; a daughter, Ruth (Mrs. Delmar) Haupt of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Letha O. Wolfe and Mrs. Irene Byers, both of Maitland, FL; and a brother, Fred V. Hallar of Colburn.
