Louise Fentress Higgs, age 76, of Hudson, KY, passed away Thursday, (February 14, 2008) at her home. She was born on March 9, 1931, in Breckinridge County KY, the daughter of Vernell Fentress and Shellie Beulah (Tucker) McAdams. She was a retired cook at the Breckinridge County School System and was a member of the Hudson Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Raymond R. Higgs, two sons, Larry Allen Higgs (Glanelene) and Randy Higgs (Hazel), ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, her brothers, Roger, Lannie, Steven, Gary and Stacy Fentress and a sister, Vernessa Drake. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Fentress and two sisters, Donna Mae and Mary Helen Fentress. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday (February 16, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jimmy Tucker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. Saturday until time of services.
