Grace Freeman Phillips, 74, died late Friday evening at St.
Josephs Hospital in Savannah, Ga. She is survived by three sons Mr. James D.
Phillips and Mr Glenn Clarke Phillips both of Savannah and Mr. Willard F.
Phillips of Bloomingdale. Two daughters Mrs. Betty P. Thorn and Mrs. Annette
P. Mitchell of Savannah. One sister Mrs. Pamala F. Hagan and one brother Mr.
W. H. Freeman both of Sylvania, Ga. 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren
and several neices and nephews. She was born on November 6th 1914 in Bulloch
County near Statesboro, Ga. She was the third child of the late Agnes Woods
and Malcolm J. Freeman. she was married to the late Frank Phillips on May
8th 1931 in Bulloch County.
Terry Massey Funeral home is in charge of arrangements with
burial in the Gravel Hill cemetery in Bloomingdale, Ga.
