RICHMAN Lee HUTSON

My father, Richman Lee Hutson, was born in Centralia, TX in Trinity County on November 27, 1868. He died on July 4, 1952 in Apple Aprings, TX and is buried in the Bennett Cemetery and has a tombstone.
Lee, as he was called, married Rosa Burke, daughter of Francis Marion Burke and Mary Burney, on August 2, 1894.
Lee was considered to be a self-made man. He worked fifty years for Southern Pine Lumber Company. He was Inspector for their timber in Trinity County. He had several farms that he let people farm on. I think they were called "Share Croppers". He also raised cattle on the ranch that he carried to Fort Worth to sell so he could send his children to college in the fall.
I credit my parents with giving me the perseverance that marked mylife. My father was very strict and brought us up to believe that the rewards you get in life, you have to earn.
