Funeral services for William Sato, 73 years old, 167 Hill street, a veteran newspaper photographer, who died Thursday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Helen Anderson of Crown Point, Ind., will be held at 2 p.m. today in Crown Point. Mr. Sato had worked for THE TRIBUNE, the Chicago Daily News, and the old Chicago Journal before retiring 10 years ago. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war and of the World war and received an honorary coroner's badge for his services during the Eastland steamship disaster in 1915. Another daughter, Victoria, also of Crown Point, and a son, William Sato Jr. of Chicago, also survive him.
