MIDDLEBURY — Beneditto "Benny" Itri, 94, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Anne (Dellanno) Itri.
Mr. Itri was born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., on Oct. 10, 1916, son of the late Carmine and Anna Itri. He was a retired employee of Century Brass and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Benny is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 9:15 a.m. Monday from the Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St., Waterbury, to St. John of the Cross Church, Middlebury, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
