LIMESTONE and CARIBOU Wilfred P. Sirois, 87, died Oct. 11, 2003, at Caribou. He was born Sept. 4, 1916, at Van Buren, the son of Alfred and Jennie (Mulherin) Sirois. Wilfred was a farmhand and factory worker of National Starch Co. in Island Falls for many years. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Limestone.

He is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Gilford and Donna Sirois of Island Falls, Phillip Sirois of Greenfield, N.H., Roland and Delilah Sirois of Caribou and Clayton and Yvonne Sirois of Limestone; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and John Edgecomb, of Limestone and Winnie and Carl Thacker of Bidwell, Ohio; one brother, Joseph Belanger of Auburn; one sister, Geraldine of Buffalo, N.Y.; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eva (King) Sirois on Aug. 20, 2003.
Interment will take place in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. (Bangor Daily News 10/13/2003)
