Daughter of Alfred J R Sirois (1889-1965) and his wife Jane Mary "Jennie" Mulherin (1894-1938). She was one of their 12 confirmed children with another 7 to be validated. Alfred remarried in 1939 to Flavie Martin-Pelletier bringing to the already large family another 7 children... bringing the total to approximately 26

Following the death of her mother in 1938, Geraldine was adopted by Magella & Azilda Dubay of Van Buren, Maine.
