Beth M. Sabo Nickels, 83 of Aurora, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2002 at Tabor Hills Health Care. She was born April 23, 1918 in Red Oak, Texas.
Beth was an Aurora area resident since 1945 after living in Dallas, Texas. She was employed as a secretary at Austin-Western in the late 60's.
Survivors include her three sons, William (Nancy) Sabo, Steven (Joan) Sabo, John (Mary) Sabo; three daughters, Mary Susan (John) Blake, Beth Sabo, Diane (David) Shoemaker; four grandchildren, Greg Sabo, Douglas Sabo, Karen Sabo and Michael Sabo; a great-grandchild, Kevin Sabo; and a brother John Southerland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bertha Southerland; a twin brother Jack Southerland; her first husband William Sabo, Sr. and her second husband George Nickels.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25, 2002 at 11:30 AM at THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY Rev. Cindy Karis and Rev. Clint Roberts will officiate with interment in River Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 24, 2002 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora 630-898-8634. www.daleidenmortuary.com.
