Funeral services for Mrs. Voncille Hernandez will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with Revs. Roger George & Roland George officiating. Interment will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery, Flatwoods, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Hernandez, age 85, of Flatwoods, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 in Katy, Texas of natural causes.

Voncille was born in Richton, MS on August 4, 1931. She was married to Cuthbert Wentworth until his death in 1969. She remarried Tony Hernandez and was married until his death in 2005.

Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her parents, Jim & Lily Dunnam; her husbands, Cuthbert Wentworth and Anthony Hernandez; her siblings, Jane, Bill Dunnam, Virgil Dunnam, John Dunnam, Fuel Dunnam, Lily (Doll) Wally, Truman Dunnam, Joe Dunnam, Alice Brownlee, Josephine White and Lewis Dunnam.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Gary Wentworth, John Wentworth, Steve Wentworth, Michael Hernandez; her daughter, Lynitha Wentworth-Cummins; her brother, Bud Dunnam; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, along with other family and friends.

Visitation will be at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and will resume Friday, July14, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
