Funeral services for Alice Marie Brownlee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Clifton Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church in the Clifton Community with the Reverend Mark Woodham officiating. Interment will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Alice Brownlee, age 81 of Flatwoods, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 22, 2016 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

Alice was a native of Richton, Mississippi and a resident of Flatwoods for over forty-five years. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lillie Dunnam; brothers and sisters, Fuel, Truman, Lilly, Joe, Josephine, Louis, Willie, John, Jane and Virgil; two daughters-in-law, Karen and Jeanie; and one grandson, Alex.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of 60 years, James Brownlee of Flatwoods; sons, Glennis Brownlee and wife, Judy of Lafayette, Michael Brownlee and wife, Kathryn of Chopin, Perry Brownlee of Flatwoods and Keith Brownlee of Flatwoods; sister, Voncille Hernandez of Colfax; brother, Arthur Dunnam of Flatwoods; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Clifton Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service.
