Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Freddie Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mildred was born Oct. 1, 1930, in Levelland to John and Ima Mae Clayton. She was raised in Plainview.
Mildred married John Wilson in February 1983.
She was a reverend in Amarillo and was a big part of the prison ministry. She ministered to the inmates through the mail with letters she would send to them.
Mildred loved her children and grandchildren and was known as "Granny." She loved to read her Bible and enjoyed listening to gospel music.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson; and her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy West and husband Dewey of The Colony, Sue Melton and husband Gary of Dumas, and Joyce Pemberton of Amarillo; five sons, Bobby Pemberton of Stinnett, Don Pemberton and wife Cheryl, Randy Pemberton and wife Vanessa, and Tom Pemberton, all of Amarillo, and Billy Pemberton and wife Klonda of Sublette, Kan.; three sisters, Jean Mow of Plainview, Leta Mow of Brownwood and Wynona Newton of Mansfield; two brothers, Troy Clayton of Dallas and Earl Clayton of Arcadia, Okla.; 22 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
