She was the granddaughter of Samuel Elijah "Sam" Hensley and Mary Sue Livingston Hensley; William Anderson McCormick and Eliza Ellen Harlow McCormick.
Ms. Hensley died Wednesday, December 24, 1930, at the age of 20.

Miss Inez Hensey, aged twenty years, passed away on Wednesday at the home of her parent, Mr. and Mrs. Pruitt Hensey on Danville route No. 3.
Deceased is survived by her parents, three sisters, and three brothers.
The funeral was conducted at 11:30 o'clock Thursday morning at Johnson's Chapel by the Rev. M. Pritchard.
Interment was in the family lot, Gibson and Priest in charge of funeral arrangements.
