Funeral services for W. S. Hensley, 87, of Decatur were conducted Thursday, July 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Tucker officiating.
Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hensley died Tuesday, July 28, at Medical Park Convalescent Center. He was a member of Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ and a retired employee of Wayne Poultry Co.
He is survived by one son, Earl Hensley of Decatur; one daughter, Audrey Smith of Decatur; one brother, Junior Hensley of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one sister Addie Bee Hill of Danville; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randall Hill, Dewayne Hill, Gary Shelton, Clinton Simmons, Danny Cottingham and Rodney Cunningham.
