Thompson and was the mother of seven children: Sarah E., James Robert, Rilda S., Lucy Jane, Eliza A., Gilbert N. and Daniel H. Her second marriage was to William Mitchem, by whom she was the mother of four: Blanche, Homer, Chesley and Gerthalene. Mr. Mitchem was already father of eight: Millie, wife of Edward Giesler, Ada, widow of Eddie Johnson, Scott; Laura, wife of John Gehlert (lives Shannon Co), Lyda, wife of Bernie Heck, and Parker (near Chamois). Deceased are Mrs Oma Klouse (Klaus) who left no children and John Mitchem who died in March 1938 in Colorado leaving one son, Earl.
