Adele was baptized at St. Anthony Church in Milwaukee WI on Aug. 24, 1878. She married William Follansbee Willis at Simpson Methodist Church in, Milwaukee on Oct. 18, 1898. They lived at 2231 N. 40th St. in Milwaukee. She was the Milwaukee county's first republican committeewoman. She also was president of the Woman's School Alliance, an organization for the care of needy school children. Adele's funeral was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Milwaukee, on Apr. 15, 1946. She was survived by four children, Foster, Warren, William and Mildred (Mrs. Richard Mantey) and two brothers, Joseph and Louis Biegel. Two daughters Ruth and Adele preceded her in death as well as her siblings Catherine (Mrs. Henry Surges), Elisabeth (Mrs. Joseph Hautman), Maria (Mrs. Anton Welzel), Henry, John, Nicholas and Peter Biegel.
