Loving wife of Major US Air Force West Virginia Howard Lee Hinkle who was killed in an aircraft accident in 1958. Mother to Howard Lee Hinkle, Novato, CA., Richard Wayne Hinkle St George, UT, & William Allen Hinkle, Sequim, WA. Married to Albert E Burkhalter by proxy in 1961. They then spent most of their married life in Saudi Arabia, Beruit, Lebanon and Cypress, Greece where Al flew for several airlines including King Fauds. They returned to the US and retired in Phoenix, AZ around 1979. Her grandchildren include Stephen, Jonathan and Erik Hinkle. She was a favorite and beloved sister and aunt. She was a great cook and practical joker. She and Al loved dachshunds. They returned to the states with Xamsu "Samsu", Minx 1 many times and later were pet parents to Minx 2, Bala, and Gretchen while living in Phoenix. Helen and Al maintained & cherished many friends from the days in the service as well as those they met in their lives in the States and overseas.
