Loretta Walden, 82, of Millcreek Township, died Monday, April 22, 2002 at her residence after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Huntsville, Arkansas, July 31, 1919, a daughter of the late Dewey and Mildred Bolinger. Until recently, she lived in Huntsville, Arkansas. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and quilting.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Walden, whom she married December 5, 1936; a son, Wayne Walden and his wife Karolyn of Kennewick, Washington; a daughter, Janice Sahlmann of Erie; three sisters, Juanita Brannon, Joyce Pike and Dorothy Sparks; a brother, Howard Bolinger; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Wednesday, April 24 at the Brugger Home for Funerals in Erie, Pennsylvania with the Rev. Tim Sullivan officiating.

Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial may be made to The Free Will Baptist Church Youth Choir, or to the Horton Creek Cemetery Fund.

Loretta Walden, 82, of Millcreek Township, died Monday, April 22, 2002 at her residence after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Huntsville, Arkansas, July 31, 1919, a daughter of the late Dewey and Mildred Bolinger. Until recently, she lived in Huntsville, Arkansas. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and quilting.
