Services Held for Mrs. A. Abrahamson

Funeral services for Mrs. Alfred Abrahamson, died September 11, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Baptist church, of which she was a member.

Mrs. Abrahamson, who was greatly interested in church work despite the fact that physical disability had prevented her actively engaging in it during the last few years requested that the hymn, "Asleep in Jesus" be sung at her funeral by Miss Belle Manley and Mrs. Amy Swanson. Rev. Harold B Oyer delivered the funeral message, "Seeing God".

Leurenda Adirene Sater was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, May 16, 1860, and she died in Holdrege on September 11, 1930, at the age of 70 years, 3 months, and 26 days. She was married on December 8 1884, near Axtell, Nebraska, to Alfred Abrahamson. To this union an infant son was born on July 19, 1988, but he did not live. Jessie Lattimer, born near Mason City, Nebraska, on September 25, 1890, passed away August 7, 1903, at the age of 13 years.

At the age of 19 years, Mrs. Abrahamson dedicated her life to God's service and united with the Adventist Christian church near Chariton, Iowa, and ever since has led a consistent Christian life. Since coming to Holdrege she united with the Baptist church and has been ardent in Christian service. Mrs. Abrahamson is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. L E.
