Served overseas in France,Envezine( Euvezin) Sector, September 19 to November 11, 1918 with the 4th Army Corps, 89th Division, 164 th Brigade, Private, Btry C 342 Field artillery. The Brigade remained in this sector shelling German positions near Dampvitoux until the cessation of hostilities, November 11, 1918.
The Division participated in the St. Mihiel offensive salient August 6. After the salient was consolidated the division moved to Argonne-Meuse attack, crossing the Meuse river, north of Stenay, the night before the armistice was signed.
