Mrs. Ada Carew, who for the past eleven months has been cared for by Linn county at the home of Mrs. Virginia Tycer on east Kirk avenue, Brownsville, died at the Tycer home Saturday morning. She had been in poor health for many months. So far as could be learned there are no living relatives of the deceased. Among her affects was found a postcard bearing the name of Mrs. Amanda D. Finnell, 929 W. 10th street, Albany, Oregon, who was notified Sunday and attended the graveside service Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Interment was in the Masonic cemetery with Rev. Ralph Wolverton of the Baptist church officiating. A small group of local Baptists witnessed the simple committal and furnished flowers.
