At the home of the bride's parents, 3 1/2 miles southeast of Novelty on Wednesday, December 16, at 6 p.m. occurred the wedding of Miss Lena Mae Harris and Mr. Francis L. Winget, Rev. L. C. Mauek of Quincy, Illinois, officiating. The bride was attired in cream wool crepe trimmed in cream colored fur with a satin girdle. And the groom in blue serge. They both made a very charming appearance. After the ceremony they with the friends and relatives that were present were invited into the dining room where a supper well prepared was served and all did justice to it.

Miss Lena is the handsome daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Harris and is a christian young lady of splendid qualities, held in very high esteem by her host of friends. Mr. Francis is the son of Charles and Fannie Winget and is an industrious young man of good qualities and has many friends who admire him.

The young couple received many valuable and useful presents. The coming season they will make their home on the farm and many are the good wishes expressed by their many friends for a future of happiness and prosperity.
