He is survived by wife Siuila M.; sons the Rev. Piula E., Tuisamau E., Elia Jr. and Uesile E.; daughters Lafulemu S. Malaki and Susana E. Flores; brothers Sione J., Vaiao, Vaiinupo, Maeaeafe, Falatugatuga, Petoni and Pita; sister Penelope A. Utu; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Wahiawa United Methodist Church, 1445 California Ave., Wahiawa. Call after 9:30 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual and Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
