Funeral service for Benjamin Rudolph Vogel, 76, Rt. 3, Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Epworth Methodist Church with Rev. David E. Parker officiating.
Mr. Vogel was born Aug 17, 1897 in Emmettsburg, Iowa. He was a farmer and stockman near Union City until his retirement. He came to Chickasha in 1957.
He was a veteran of World War I, Barracks No. 2069, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 94 , member of Epworth Methodist Church, and the McElhoes Sunday school class.
He married the former Miss Dona Jensen on Dec. 23, 1922 in El Reno. He died Thursday in Grady Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Dona, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Aline McMahan of Chickasha, Miss Gwendine Vogel of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Donna Marie Boevers of Vinita; two brothers, Louie of Amarillo, Tex., and George of Chickasha; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Peterson of Warrenville, Il., and Mrs. Florence Buird of Kingston; and five grandchildren. Two brothers, John and Carl preceded him in death.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Funeral Home.
