Agnes Hilda Kyger, 84, Waynesboro, died Friday, April 28,2000, at Avante in Waynesboro.
Mrs. Kyger was born Sept. 25, 1915, in Waynesboro, and was a daughter of the late James E. and Hannah Morris Dobbins.
She owned and operated Agnes Kyger's Beauty Shop before retiring.
She was a member of the Grottoes United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Paul Leon Kyger Sr., died Jan. 19,1974.
She is survived by a son, P.L. Kyger Jr., Greenville, Tenn.; a daughter, Verna Weakley, Grottoes; two brothers, Douglas Dobbins and A.D. Dobbins, both of Waynesboro; a sister, Jean Garber, Waynesboro; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Jeffrey Witt will conduct a graveside service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Elkton.
