He married Ernestine Betterton on Nov. 8, 1933 in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia. They had a child, John Earnest Still, born August 17,1937 and died at birth. This child is buried in the Shadowlawn Cemetery in Lagrange, Troup County, Georgia. They had a second child, Carolyn Lee Still born Sept. 9, 1940. Herman Still died June 10, 1986 in LaGrange, Georgia. Ernestine Betterton Still died July 21, 2000. Carolyn Lee Still Thompson died July 3, 2006 in LaGrange, Georgia and is buried in the Oak Grove Community Cemetery in the Oak Grove Community, Pine Mountain, Troup County, Georgia.
