Carolyn was born September 19, 1940 in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia. She was the daughter of John Herman Still and Ernestine Betterton Still. Her parents preceded her in death. Carolyn had been an area resident all her life and was a member of Oak Grove Congregational Christian Church in the Oak Grove Community of Pine Mountain. Carolyn married Vigil Larry Thompson, Sr.,on June 18, 1961. They had two sons. Virgil Larry Thompson died at West Georgia Medical Center on September 19, 1999. She is survived by her two sons.
