Frank G. Sweat, age 82, of Stockbridge, died Friday, July 16, 2004. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Ward's Rockdale Chapel.

Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers. A native of Muscogee County, GA, Mr. Sweat was a retired Georgia State Government Security Guard, a U.S. Army WWII veteran, a Master Mason, and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Dessie Sweat, of Stockbridge; daughters, Pat Kennedy, of Rex, GA; Carolyn Perkins, of Fayetteville; daughter and son in-law, Frances and Dixon Hay, of Douglasville; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brother, Randall W. Sweat, Conyers, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday from 4 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Rockdale Chapel, 770-918-8851.
