RACINE – Joseph E. Klinkhammer, Jr., 79, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at his residence.

Joseph was born in Racine February 12, 1925, son of the late Joseph E. and Josephine (nee: Mutchie) Klinkhammer. On September 13, 1952, at St. Louis Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Norine Slater, who preceded him in death August 2, 1973. Joseph was employed by Jacobsen Manufacturing for many years. He enjoyed fishing and took great pride in his lawn work. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his infant twins, Bruce and Linda Sue; and his three sisters, Bernice Klinkhammer, Eleanor George and Marie DeAndre.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 4, 2004, at 10 a.m. with Reverend mark Danczyk officiating. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Caledonia. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. and Monday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Memorials to St. Louis Catholic Church or to the American Diabetes Association have been suggested. Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main Street.
