Nevils - H.C. Burnsed Jr., 91, died Thursday at Metter Nursing Home after a long illness. He was a member of Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Bloomingdale, was retired from the Georgia Department of Revenue and was retired from the school bus association.
Survivors include his wife, Luella Butler Burnsed, Nevils; one daughter, Arminda Ellison, Nevils; and one son, Alwyne Burnsed, Nevils; one sister, Florence Shuman, Ellabell; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Nevils United Methodist Church with Elder Conrad McCorkle and the Rev. David Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Nevils Cemetery in Statesboro. Smith-Tillman Mortuary.
