Frank R. Smith was one of twin sons born to Sephrona A. Ravlin and Oliver Barr Smith. He married Lillian G. Murphy in 1885. Frank and Lillian had an apple orchard in Longview WA and later moved to Spokane. They had no children. He died at the age of 57.
