Mrs. Eva Frances Allen, 79, Emmett, died Thursday March 5, at her home. Mrs. Allen was a Stanley Home Products dealer more than 30 years.
She was born May 23, 1907, in Centralia, the daughter of J. S. and Mary McIntyre Miser. She attended rural schools in several Kansas communities. Mrs. Allen was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church in Duluth. She was married to Charles Allen of Wheaton on Oct. 31, 1925. he died Dec. 25, 1964. A son, George B. Allen died in 1941. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Grafton, Kansas City, Mo., two sister, Mrs. Thelma Conaway, Holton and Mrs. Dorothy Andrick, Onaga; a brother, John Miser, Rawlins, Wyo.; three grandsons and two great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 P.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Duluth. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery northeast of Wheaton. Mrs. Allen will lie in state until noon Sunday at Tessendorf mortuary in Onaga and from 1 until 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. The family will meet with friends from 7:30 until 9 p.m. today at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran church in Duluth.
