March 18, 1886, at 1 o'clock AM at the residence of her granddaughter, Mrs. A.C. Buffington, Westmoreland,Kansas, Mrs. Mary Cook, relict(widow) of Uriah Cook, departed this life. Mrs. Cook was born in Virginia, 26 day of May,1812: hince was a little less than 74 years at the time of her death.She was married in 1830, and joined the M E Church in the year of 1846. She with her husband and children came to Kansas and settled in Pottawatomie County in 1857. Mrs. Cook was the mother of twelve children, four of whom are still living. Martha Fleming, Edward Cook, Rebecca VanDusen, and Frances Cochrun.The funeral service was held at the M E Church, Friday at 11 o'clock. Reverends Hunter and Brown, officiating. The remains were interred in the Westmoreland Cemetery, and were followed by a number of sorrowing relatives and friends. Thus has another of the pioneer women of Pottawatomie County passed away. May she rest in peace.

When Mary married Uriah, she listed Cooper as her last name.
I have not been able to find anything related to Cooper.
Samuel Haworth married them and Beriah Haworth was the witness.
