Nola was born in Brigham City, Utah. out of the 7 children born to her parents she was the only one born in a hospital.Her parents move them around to different places fallowing work, Utah, Idaho, and California until her teen years when they moved to Lancaster California. She was 17 when she meet Billy Gifford. They were married in 1954 and 2 years later they had the first of 8 children.
She Loved her family and her favorite saying was there was always room for one more. The house was all ways full of kids and crafts and other fun things to do.
She Loved to do all kinds of crafts, Sewing, Cake decorating, making wedding bouquets. When she was 50 she went back to school and got two degrees in art, Painting and pottery.
She is very much missed by all who knew her.
