Mrs. Florence E. Butler, 86-year-old widow of Edd Butler of Adair County, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.A. Stevenson of Commerce, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Elizabeth Hazelwood Coakley of Green County. Her husband died several years ago and three of her children preceded her in death.

She is survived by four children, John W. Butler, Coburg, Mrs. W.A. Stevenson, Commerce, Ga., Mrs. Earl Cox and Mrs. Charles Wittle, both of Toledo, O., and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her remains were brought from Georgia on Friday to Stotts & Phelps Funeral Home. The Reverend H.J. Conover conducted the funeral services there on Saturday. Interment was in the Butler Family Cemetery in Columbia.

Pallbearers were: Lewis Todd Butler, Josh Allen Butler, Jim Hood, Edd Ballou, Edd Hood, and Hershel Cundiff.
