Mrs. Pearl C. Caldwell, of Amarillo, died in St. Joseph's Hospital at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, February 11.

Although she had never lived here, Mrs. Caldwell had visited here many times over a long period of years. She was a sister of Mrs. W. R. Orr.

She was a retired special agent for the Kansas City Life Insurance Co.

A member of a pioneer family, she was born in Floyd County, the daughter of J. L. and Florence B. Crabtree. The family came to McLean many years ago.

Surviving Mrs. Caldwell are a daughter, Mrs. Joyce C. Morgan of Hobbs, NM; three sisters, Mrs. Orr, Mrs. Lena Stubbs and Mrs. Chris Bjerg of McLean; two granddaughters, Mrs. George McDaniel of Andrews, and Mrs. Gene Gray of Arlington, and seven great-grandchildren.
