Services Today for I. S. Smith, 83

Macon, Mo., April 9.- I. S. (Ike) Smith, 83, died in the Samaritan Hospital, Tuesday morning. He was a retired farmer and gardener here for many years.
Mr. Smith was born on Dec. 16, 1875. His wife, the former Mattie Bender, preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 1959.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 in the Hutton funeral home. Burial will be in the Bethlehem cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Henry of Elmer, Lawrence of Garwin,Ia.,and Howard of Macon; a daughter, Mrs. Etta Pike of Elmer, and two step-sons, Arthur of Bowling Green and Isaac L. of Macon.
