Mrs. Bernice L. Harding, age 70 of 1543 Vine Ave. SW, passed away Saturday morning in Timken Mercy Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Jefferson County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Abram and Martha Custer Billman, and she had resided in the Canton area for 50 years. She retired in 1970 as a bookkeeper for the Castle Corp., where she was employed for 43 years. Mrs. Harding was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church and the American Assoc. of Retired Persons. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Harding in 1944. Survivors include her brother Jess Billman, Bitely, Michigan and niece Mrs. Dorma Hughes, Lansing, Michigan.
