Milton was the son of Samuel R. Guynn and Margaret Kennedy. He married Mahala Potts on 22 August 1833 in Hendricks Co., Indiana and to this union two children were born: Samuel Perry Guynn and Naoma (Guynn) Everett. Mahala died in 1840 and Milton then married Jane Lewis. To this union 5 children were born; Seth, Jane, Susan, Sarah and John W.
Milton Guynn, an old gentleman, aged about 79 years, who lived on Sugar Creek, came to this place last Thursday afternoon to visit his daughter, Mrs. William Jobe, and family, and became suddently ill at about 4 o'clock with a pain in his stomach, accompanied by a chill. He went to bed and a physician was summoned who gave him a hypedermic injection which put him to sleep. The family sat at his bedside until about 4 o'clock this monring when his spirit took its flight to the God who gave it.
His remains will be iinterred tomorrow at Linnville cemerery, where members of his family are interred. Deceased was an old and highly respected citizen of the county and leaves many friends to mourn his demise
