The Rev. J. A. Johnson will be in charge of the services, with interment in the Liberty Hill cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral home of Ruston.
Mr. Black had been a resident of Lincoln parish for several years before moving to Ferriday with his wife who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. H. E. Driskell of Simsboro; a stepdaughter, Mrs. J. R. Stegall of Ferriday; a stepson, E. J. Griggs of Bernice, and four brothers, Grover Black of Monroe, Titus and Energy of Jonesboro and Hosiea [sic Hosea] of Springhill.
